Modern Warfare 3 breaks 5-day record with $775M

Last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, which raked in $650 million, has nothing on the recent release of Modern Warfare 3 which pulled in $775 million dollars in 5 days, breaking the largest grossing 5-day record belonging to Black Ops.

The Call of Duty game series has now made a massive $6 billion in revenue , making it one of the top entertainment outlets in the world.

Modern Warfare 3′s record-breaking release broke several records including the highest launch-day record – posting $400 million dollars in its first day on the market.
