New BBX-Powered BlackBerry Leaked
The Verge was able to get a hold of what seems to be the new BBX-Powered BlackBerry code named London.
TechCrunch obtained some base-line information regarding the handset and said the following:
“It reportedly sports a 1.5GHz TI OMAP processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facer. While it’s an improvement over RIM’s current BlackBerrys, the London’s specs would have been bleeding edge a few months ago.”
Those specs, especially come June of 2012, which is the target date for its release, won’t be that staggering.
On the other hand, the design is better than hoped – seeming to diverge from the typical BlackBerry style of cluttering up the device with unnecessary weighted edges and a heavy form.
